About Us

Established in 2001, Buzz Studios is Georgia Tech's premier, longest-running, and award-winning filmmaking club. Buzz Studios gives prospective student filmmakers all the tools they need to write, produce, and direct their own short films. Club members gain valuable experience as members of the crew during monthly production weekends, pitch their own scripts, participate in social events, and screen their films at the end of each academic year.

Buzz Studios has undertaken a wide variety of projects, ranging from short films and mini-shorts (including satirical news reports for the Tech Square Times) to commercial projects for on-campus organizations and outside partners. Now in our 24th year, our mission of providing an accessible artistic forum and a prolific portfolio of diverse video projects continues into 2024 and beyond.
